Profile

A career that shaped the security of a city.

Major General (Ret.) Jamal Salem Al Jallaf served as Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police, and later as Security Advisor on Criminal and Traffic Affairs to the Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security. Over thirty-five years in uniform, he led investigations that drew international attention — from transnational organised crime to financial frauds with global reach.

He holds a Master's degree in International Commercial Law from Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Law and a Diploma in Police Sciences from the Dubai Police Academy, and was a member of the first cohort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development — Executive Leaders track.

On 7 August 2025 he was personally received by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai, as one of the retired senior officers who, in His Highness's words, "established the foundations of security and stability in the emirate." Today he brings that same forensic discipline to private practice. Clients of the firm benefit from counsel that understands both sides of a courtroom: the procedure, the precedent — and the investigation that preceded it.
